Fiduciary Bonds

Fiduciary Bonds are required by provincial courts and the Public Guardian and Trustees (Obligees) from persons or companies (Principals) that hold in trust and administer property belonging to others.

The surety guarantees to the Obligee that the Principal will faithfully perform their duties as trustee and comply with the orders of the court.

Examples of Fiduciary Bonds are:

  • Administration/Probate Bond
  • Foreign Executor Bond
  • Committees/Guardian Bond
  • Substitution Decisions Act/Guardian Bond
  • Trustee in Bankruptcy Bond
